The Maid of Honors Poem to the Bride
For the last couple years we’ve been into writing poetryAnd rhyming, the ability to rhyme definitely runs in the family, its kind of a tradition
So I thought it only appropriate to commemorate this day with a poem
At convention is where it began
Krystal wasn’t even looking for a man
But then Four Georgian showed up on a whim
He saw her and she saw HIM
They were talking on the phone in no time at all
She just couldn’t get enough of that southern drawl
The visits were few as the months went by
Until the day Krystal said “I’m moving - bye bye.”
Living four states away they missed each other too much
So off to Georgia she went saying, “Y’all keep in touch”
A year and a half later to my not so surprise
I heard to single life she was saying her goodbyes
She called me asking “Will you be my MOH?”
That’s maid of honor for those who don’t know
A more perfect pair could not be found
This morning in holy matrimony the two were bound
So now together as you start your new life
You get to start calling each other husband and wife
We’ll miss you all dearly so you’ll have to make a plan
To come back to Michigan whenever you can
And so to Krystal I give my best wishes,
And congratulations Jamie take care of the Mrs.
