Our new tent

This year for convention we wanted to stay on the grounds!
But we did not want to stay in our regular tent as it leaks!
And a hotel was not in our budget!
So we ordered this - It worked GREAT!!!
Bruce made a platform for the mattress - we even took the portapotty
from the boat - so we had a real camper ;-)
Its nice to be up off the ground - it rained quite a bit while we were there
and we stayed warm & dry!!!
If you have a pick-up and want a better option then a ground tent this is it!!!

21 Years ago today while some of you were at Carsonville

Flowers from Jamie ;-0
Cuzins & Best Friends!

This little lady was born!

Happy Birthday Krystal!!

Still here!!

Slowly but surely the invitations are getting ready to send out...
We did a test run & they came back with postage due - been lots to keep this process interesting! In the mean time I think every room in the house has some touch of
"wedding planning" in progress look to it!!

We had an AWESOME convention!! The pickup truck bed - Camper Tent worked great -
Pictures of that later!!

You are "Stihl" the one!!

Well it won't be the fear of limbs on the house keeping us awake at night now!
Yesterday morning the guys from Leonardos Tree Service showed up around 9 -
in about 1.5 hours they had all the huge limbs over the house down & in the chipper -
We lost some shade for the moment but they tell us it will fill back in...

We were worried that the huge Bass Wood tree might be rotten all the way thru
but it wasn't - so they were able to leave it!
The head of the crew said that if he was stuck in the wilderness with the
choice of only one tool what would it be and he said that Stihl up there!

Our New Addition

This orphaned pot belly pig -Tom(our neighbor & friend)and his brothers went down to Grand Rapids for a wedding and there was this poor piggy no one wanted - they even let her run in hopes that the coyotes would get her??????? Tom says Bruce & Deb would probably take her - - She is in w/ the goats and chickens for now and seems quite content - though the goats are scared of her its - kinda funny ;-)))) We are waiting on some information before we name her!!
We got the okay... Her name is Annie - as in Little Orphan Annie - She reminds us so much of our good friends(Jim & Neelys) pig they used to have near our other house "Lulu"

What goes up must come down

Did you know 100 year old things can be rotten inside and they do fall down

I have been worried about this limb for several weeks now & I commented a

couple times to Bruce that I thought the branches kept getting lower -

I kept grabbing them and trimming them off -

(I knew they are not growing we have had no rain)

Saturday we were gone for part of the afternoon it was a beautiful

sunny calm day - - this is what we found when we got home!

Yikes sure glad that did not happen when I was grabbing and trimming!
