Thank you for your support thru the years -
As of December 2015 Wests Windy Acres Farm has closed -
Bruce accepted a job offer in Georgia
that was too good to turn down
(especially because it means we are so close to our grandbabies -)
Keep an eye on our blog - hoping it will feed your soul and motivate you toward positive thinking

50 degs!

After the winter we have had -
Never ending snow and bitter bitter cold
we were beginning to wonder if spring would ever come
but today we were reassured that it will...
50 degs and melting - melting - melting

and there is LOTS to melt

YES... its that time of year again - BUT....

... due to the amount of work
coming into WestSide Tool this year
we will NOT be making syrup -
Its the first time in over 15 years
that we will not be doing this -
Its bittersweet -
While we are beyond grateful the shop is
SO BUSY
syrup is part of what we do...
ahhhh well God Willing - Next year

I Can Do it Myself

hiding the paper towel
I was tired of the paper towel roll either under the sink or on the counter top
so I removed one of the plastic trays on the hidden cupboards and installed a paper towel rod

voila - just the right size and easy to tear off!

Spring Ahead

When the blood grands are too far away

It warms this Neenas heart when the honorary
