(especially because it means we are so close to our grandbabies -)

Not all work - - taking time to play!

Someone once said...
All work and no play....So we are taking a few hours here and there to play
our summers are TOO short
So we are trying to make the best of this one
and mother nature is cooperating with near
PERFECT weatherBetween the Fourth of July celebrations
and the National Cherry Festival its been
busy week We found perfect seating at Apache Trout Grill
for watching the air show on Sunday afternoon
and the food was incredible!
Somewhere in all this
Bruce went Green ;-)

A great salesman and now a friend!
When our friend Lynn came to town we HAD to go to Leland
we had hoped to go by boat - but just when we
were ready to take it to the lake Bruce discovered
a problem with the outdrive - -
MAYBE we will get it in the water this summer -
After all its only been 3 yearsThink Floyd added to the Blast of the
End of Festival Fire worksWe sat on a bench and waited for traffic to clear

Somehow its just not the same down there without our kids -
We also were given 4 free tickets to see Paula Poundstone
at Interlochen on Friday night -
What a hoot - Good clean fun.... Still Laughing!

A great ending to the weekend was when our friends
called from LakeSide and asked us to join them for
some "Jimmy Buffet" time ;-)

Catching you up - from the past month or so


Were here -
May 24th we brought our cattle to our farm
All the views
Then on Memorial day
The day after we moved them here
Daisy May was born...
talk about perfect timing!

Its a wonderful site to watch them play together
We added 12 baby chicks to our farm June 7th
We miss those farm fresh eggs!
