Our Georgia Trip - in detail

Its looking like rain and FALL – cannot believe how much the leaves can change in just two weeks!!
We had a wonderful time in GA –
We stopped in Ohio at Brian (Bruces Brothers)and Mindys on the way down –
they had no power
but they did have a generator – so we had hot showers ;-))
Good times with them as always!!
Still wonder why people with young children need any other forms of entertainment –
those kids kept us rolling with laughter both times we were there – what a hoot!!!
We were almost to the Demorest Conv. grounds on Wed. when Jamie pulled up next to us on
his bike – so we followed him home…
They have a BEAUTIUFL home in a BEAUTIFUL setting -
We enjoyed staying there during convention
as they are only 8 miles from the convention grounds ;-) Wonderful convention days –
lots of encouraging things and the weather was perfect
for convention, though a bit cool for me – I had a blanket around me in most of the meetings!! ;-))
YES, they were laughing at this northern girl – thought I should be used to that kind of weather!!
We discovered one thing down there after two weeks – I don’t ache down there like I do up here!!
Hmmmm - - Must be we should have been packing and moving LOTS further south!!
It was awesome to see so many people that we know & meet in person our "FACEBOOK FRIENDS"
Monday Krystal had the day off and we went up to Clarkesville for lunch
and a little sight seeing – that was dampened by a huge fire at one of the plantation houses there so we did
not get to see much but we did have an AWESOME lunch!!! Blue Pacific Grill – DELISH!
We did a bit of shopping at Lowes then as we saw a few projects we wanted to get done for them –
So while they were working during the days we worked on projects for them –
Bruce bought them a nice extension ladders and go their gutters cleaned out and a few other
ladder required projects - I painted their front door, we painted their kitchen -
We also did some yard work, trimmed hedges, arranged furniture, emptied some boxes,
arranged a couple of cupboards, decorated etc… We had a nice time getting things done
for them – in the evenings we were either out for dinner or having company ;-)) Good to see everyone!
We headed home this past Saturday Morning we headed out with much trepidation as there was
no gas to be found anywhere in that area – we stopped at one place and they ran out just
as we got to the pump – then the next place –
Bruce was able to fill up and they ran out just as he finished - - YIKES
We stopped at Brian and Mindys for the night, a deslishious dinner and more Entertainment ;-)))
We went to meeting and lunch with them yesterday and then hit the road –
we had smooth travels – and though its good to be back in the area it just does not feel like home –
with the sleeping bags and mattress on the floor feels more like camping…
The machine movers and they will be here on the 16th at 9 am to move the machines –
So that means a very busy 2.5 weeks for us -
working on details during the day and completing the shop at night –
We will close down WST on the 14th and open back up on the 20th ;-) (Jamie and Krystals 1st anniv.)
Bruce & Deb
