Viewtiful Autumns Day

Hiked to the top of 

Timberlee Mountain 

again today...

This time with my mom

Colors are PEAK and spectacular!!

Each day gets prettier...

Just when I think it can't get 

any more beautiful out...

it does...

this is what Blaze and I found 

in our hiking travels today

Mother Natures Been Busy

She was up before dawn 

with all  hues of fall...

so many trees to paint... 

she had to paint them all

So she started with the maples painted them all red...

she had to paint quickly before all the leaves were shed

She colored up the birches with 

splashes ... canary yellow...

the hickories and elms were a  bit more mellow

She painted all the ferns in tones of brown...

then without a whisper

she quietly left town...

Autumn Storehouse

I'd like to take October days 

And store them in my mind, 

To warm me during Winter's reign 

When nature proves unkind. 

Then I remember sunshine, 

The Autumn rich with gold, 

And tawny fields a-flower 

With wonders quite untold. 

My thoughts will ease the moments 

When in reverie I dwell, 

And linger for the present 

In some bright majestic dell.

Cool n Rainy

Brings out the COLOR

October 1st

 Pig, pigs ready for market

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came-
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.
The Chestnuts came in yellow,
The Oaks in crimson dressed;
The lovely Misses Maple
In scarlet looked their best;
